Retirement as it can be!

Can you find our loved ones in these 2 pictures ?

Konopacks are truck campers with a gorgeous insert for their doolie truck which makes camping in an efficient home away from home possible. They are repeating the trip taken by Lyman and Marianne when Lymie qualified for hospice and just wanted to see the redwoods before he died. I bet L&M were spiritually along when their "kids" marveled at the giant trees.
Her email reads: "

Greetings from northwest California! It is spectacularly beautiful here, so lush and green, just like a rain forest. The blue ocean has cliffs and rocks along the coast, so different from NJ. The redwoods, what can I say, they are majestic. On our first walk through the woods I felt a sense of awe and reverance at the miracle of these ancient trees. They are more than hundreds of years old, many are 2,000 years old. Imagine, these trees were growing during Jesus's time on earth. The weather was excellent yesterday for our first full day, sunny and a high of 67. Here are a couple of pictures. We have to go to the Visitors Center a few miles away from camp to receive a cell phone signal. Wish I could blog, but this will have to suffice, maybe for most of the summer.

Thinking of everyone, hoping you are having a wonderful summer.

In Hamptonville N.C.

Jack and Lyman's parents Catharine and George Wilson are the grandparents who make these two smile-y young women cousins.
Helen Kearney visited Margie Willard this month. The email that accompanied this photo said: "A gorgeous day. It was great to visit Margie's home by the pond, and talk to Aunt Jinny on our walk! Sure enjoyed her home cooking too:) Jennifer stopped by for breakfast and took our picture:) My conference in Greensboro was great too.
Love, Helen
